The EECD is seeking an educator with strong leadership skills, teaching experience, and expertise in curriculum and resource design in social studies, for project opportunities related to renewal of grades 7 and 8 social studies curricula, selected courses at the high school level, and the development of supporting learning resources.
Scope of Projects: The Social Studies Project Lead is responsible for working with department staff and provincial teacher teams to review and implement the curriculum and supporting learning resources for grades 7 and 8 renewed social studies curricula. The Lead will also be supporting the redesign of selected social studies courses at high school.
