The Elections and Nominations Committee met last night to accept the results from the Intelivote election held on October 9th between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm in the HRCE and SSRCE. The Committee also met to discuss recommendations for the appointed seats on the Board of Directors. The committee’s recommendations for ratification at the AGM on October 25, 2019 are as follows:

The Nominations and Elections committee is recommending that an expression of interest be reposted for this final seat. With the current Board of Directors roster there are no representatives from the Director, Regional Executive Director or Superintendent levels of our association. The committee believes that this is an area of concern because of the unique experience, perspective, and system level knowledge that is contributed by having a Board of Director member working in one of those roles. It is our intention to post this EOI by Tuesday October 15, 2019 so that the process can be completed before the annual general meeting on October 25, 2019
